FROM THE CEO

In accordance with the philosophy of my preceding report we have strived to find ‘More winners, More often’ with the introduction of the Super Cash Wheel, Lucky Numbers and the reformatting of our major promotions to reward as many of our Members as possible. I am pleased to confirm we will continue to honour this philosophy throughout 2010 and beyond.

In addition to our regular weekly promotions in which we reward Members with cash, crazy credits and vouchers, we have introduced new opportunities for Members to win other fantastic prizes including; a signed State of Origin Jersey, the State of Origin Ultimate Experience, $2000 in vouchers in our online ‘More winners, More often’ competition, and in conjunction with Fosters the Best Seats in the House promotion for the Wests Tigers v Cowboys game at Liechardt Oval.

Here at Wests Ashfield Leagues we take pride in the adoption of new processes and systems to improve the satisfaction and enjoyment of Members. We have recently integrated the option of the ‘Bingo Pet’ which allows Members to play multiple games of Bingo simultaneously with just the one machine, increasing the potential of winning and assisting those Members who have difficulty with playing more than one book at a time.

The journey into the third quarter of 2010 would not be complete without the annual presentation of the Community Development Support Expenditure (CDSE). It delights me to announce that at the time of writing we are preparing to present cheques to the total value of $239,997 on August 9 2010, which represents just a portion of Wests Ashfield Leagues community expenditure for the 2009-2010 period.

As you read through this you will find we are introducing a new Members only promotion ‘Casino Royale’ where our lucky Members could win up to $5000 by beating the wheel! Our major draw night Thursday October 28 is sure to be slick, suave and sophisticated, so make sure you swipe your Membership Card at the rewards terminal from 11am daily for more chances to win! 

Wests Ashfield Leagues will stop with the rest of the nation to witness the 2010 Melbourne Cup. This year we are sponsoring the Cancer Council to help raise funds by donating a portion of ticket sales and conducting other promotional activities. We encourage the members to get involved and assist us by supporting this worth while cause. It will be a great day as always!
