So that’s it with the Footy Tipping for another year, as predicted here I managed to storm home and snatch the Yellow Shirt from under Operations Manager Simon’s nose which gives me bragging rights until it all kicks off again next March!
Congratulations to those who finished among the prizes in the main competition and thanks to all others who participated.
In a season where there were upsets aplenty the efforts of the leading group were phenomenal, but in the end all honours belonged to our Winner Tristan Page, Runner-up Fiona Smith, and Third Placegetter Kelly Brown, who was successful in the random draw from Mark Wallington, Lynnette Muir, and Joseph Moussa.
It’s all on again in 2011, but first of all go the Mighty Wests Tigers in their quest for another premiership!
I had a lot of fun as the official correspondent for this competition and it led to me meeting quite a few entrants when they visited the Club. So thanks for putting up with my gibberish and I look forward to seeing you in the Club watching the finals series!
